Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem has been gone for about a week now. Unfortunately, he was plagued by problems. This has frustrated many players, which you will notice on Steam from the mixed reviews. This dynamic hack-n-slash title was supposed to be incredible in terms of epic quests, evil threats and character progression. Unfortunately, this is a difficult start.
The developer – WOLCEN Studio – has acknowledged these problems and, fortunately, has just released a patch. It is intended to solve many problems. For starters, the servers are being improved. This has been a main complaint since its launch for many people. You can only imagine how frustrated you would be if you couldn’t continue a game after just spending your hard earned money. Now, until a long-term fix is created, the game will only support a certain number of concurrent players. There will be one patch per week for the foreseeable future. The next patch will increase the number of concurrent users. Other improvements include duplicating stacked items, invalid sale price on stacked items, passive skill nodes, removing items, DOT damage bonuses, quests, network, and engine. Many bugs are also being resolved.
Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem still needs a lot of work, but it looks like it is getting on the right track. That’s what many invested fans hope for anyway. At the very least, it is promising to see the developer react quickly before there really begins to be an uproar of frustration.
Even if the developer can’t release a lot of fixes in a short period of time, he is doing everything he can to improve the main issues related to stability and balancing. If you have not purchased Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem and are t
