The Daily Mail was the first to report that Andrew’s 60th birthday party was full of pitfalls following the aforementioned Epstein scandal, with the Queen removing plans for a big party while sending out blunt invitations to replace those who were no longer coming.
While his party drew a crowd of 50, none of the royal family attended, the Daily Mail reported. For example, Sebastian Shakespeare claims that his older brother, Prince Charles, was not there, neither Prince Edward nor Princess Anne. Three Members Of The Royal Family Didn’t Go To Prince Andrew’s 60th Birthday Party
Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip posted a photo tribute to Prince Andrew’s baby earlier today, but that sparked some heat on social media. It is not clear if either party attended their son’s birthday party. A guest who spoke with the publication revealed that Andrew and Anne’s brothers were not there, but it still managed to be a good party.
Reports claim that Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone was there, as were Sir John Standing and Guy Sangster. Liu Xiaoming, Chinese ambassador to the United Kingdom, was also present. Sources say the party ended with a few games in the minds of the royal family.
Andrew has denied involvement with Jeffrey Epstein since the first connection. In addition, the FBI allegedly wants to interview the royal family member, but they were unable to contact him.
